I’m a bilingual journalist covering climate change, politics, social and women’s issues. My reporting interests are offbeat, underreported and solution-oriented stories. I have reported from Germany, Colombia, Vietnam and South Sudan and have been published by Deutsche Welle, Spiegel Online, ze.tt, Colombia Reports, the New Internationalist, USA Today, Global Post, and Occupy.com among others. I have been awarded the BIGSAS Journalist Award 2019 for my reporting from South Sudan and have been a fellow with the International Women’s Media Foundation’s Africa Great Lakes reporting initiative.
I hold a Master’s degree in International Media Studies from the University of Bonn and Deutsche Welle, Germany’s international broadcaster, as well as a BA in International Development from the University of East London. I’m currently based in Bern, Switzerland.
